April 30, 2023, 4th Sunday of Easter

Hello.

Our choir sings this coming Sunday, April 30, 2023, the Fourth Sunday of Easter.  It is the World Day of Prayer for Vocations, also known as Good Shepherd Sunday.  We will meet at 9:15 a.m. Sunday morning to get organized for the practice and then begin rehearsal at 9:30 a.m., and end no later than 10:30 a.m.

Fr. Moses has asked the choirs to finish their practice in the church 30 minutes before Mass begins, so that the Rosary can start immediately afterward and therefore leave a time period of silence, or instrumental music, between when the Rosary finishes and Mass begins.

The music selections are found below.

April 16, 2023, 2nd Sunday of Easter and Divine Mercy Sunday

Hello.

Our choir sings this Sunday, April 16, 2023, the Second Sunday of Easter.  It is also known as Divine Mercy Sunday (link to an explanation on Divine Mercy Sunday).

If you are interested, we will be having a short practise Saturday morning, just for practising the music that will be used in the Divine Mercy celebration on Sunday afternoon (April 16th) at 3 PM.  If you are interested in learning the chant, and/or doing the cantor parts, please come out tomorrow, Saturday April 15th, at 10:30 AM.  Music is found online at link (see page 5).
