Music For Sunday Dec. 16, 3rd Sunday In Advent

We'll be singing this coming Sunday, December 16th, the 3rd Sunday in Advent - also known as Gaudete Sunday or Pink Sunday.  The Latin word Gaudete means "Rejoice" and the readings for this Sunday reflect this.  To show this when lighting the Advent wreath at the beginning of Mass, Father will be lighting a pink candle.

We'll be having a practise Sunday morning (Dec. 16th) starting at the usual time at approximately 9:45 a.m.  For those of you that can make it, we'll have a brief practise tomorrow (December 12th) after the 1 h video preview of the series Catholicism in the Parish Hall starting at approximately 8:00 p.m. in the church.

Here's the music that I've selected:

Entrance: G&P #4 And The Father Will Dance

Kyrie: spoken
Gloria: spoken

Psalm: Isaiah 12 - To Be Determined

Gospel Acclamation: - Bill's Alleluia
"The Spirit of the Lord is upon me;
he has sent me to bring good news to the poor."

Preparation of the Gifts: CBW #312 O Come O Come Emmanuel

Holy Holy Holy: - Bill’s revised
Memorial Acclamation: Acclamation A
Amen: Bill's
Lamb of God: Bill's New Version (see this link)

CCLI Song # 5484616 Remembrance by Matt Maher
CBW #570 Laudate, Omnes Gentes

Recessional:  CCLI Song # 5177002 I Will Go

As seen above, the psalm still hasn't been set.  Check back later in the week for the music.

Hope to see you there.  God bless,
