Hello.
Our choir sings this Sunday, September 15th, 2024, the 24th Sunday in Ordinary Time.
We will meet at 9:15 a.m. Sunday morning to get organized for the practice and then begin rehearsal at 9:30 a.m., and end no later than 10:30 a.m.
The Rosary will begin after the practice ends at 10:30 a.m.. When it's finished, there will be a period of silence, or instrumental music, before Mass begins.
The readings for this Sunday are:
1st Reading: Isaiah 50:5-9
2nd Reading: James 2.14-18
Gospel: Mark 8.27-35
(Note: The links are to a website called the Bible Gateway. You may get a warning page entitled Redirect Notice indicating that the link will take to the Bible Gateway, i.e. https://www.biblegateway.com) I use this resource extensively so that is why I've used it in the links (if you wish to use them) for the specific readings. Unfortunately, I am unable to find a resource that lists the Sunday readings for Canada.)
The music selections are found below.
